The Incendia beta that has produced so many fantastic images already (mine can be seen here), has come to a close.  The beta is over.  And, if all goes according to plan, it will be the last beta.

The new release is going to be a public trial.  There will be additions to what the initial beta consisted of, but also some limitations that will not exist in the future release of the full version.

The public trial will have some new objects, several new transformations, and other surprises.  The future releases will have increased sizes, more fractals, and a wide selection of other feature requests from the user community.  It will likely also see some speed improvements.

This trial is going to be DonationWare.  If you want to get into the giving spirit a bit early, you can go to help.incendia.info and click on the DONATE button.  Aexion has some additional expenses coming up and your generosity would really be appreciated.

If you would like to keep up with the latest in Incendia news, I encourage you to sign up here at the Incendia forum and subscribe to this Announcements section by clicking the "Notify" button in this forum category.  I'll be making a post here with the full feature list and download link as soon as the release is ready.  This forum will hopefully become a central place to share parameters, ask questions, and suggest features.  I fully expect it to get very busy over the next couple of days.  Feel free to read between the lines there.  ;D

Great news. I'll be right onto that.  What I've seen so far is very inspiring.
Thanks for everything.
Cheers, Anu.

Just to clarify, this isn't "my" release.  It is Aexion's.  I've just been helping with the beta and set up the forum as a source of information.  Aexion gave me permission to make the announcement, but I can take no credit for it.

Daniel -
Just read your post on Apo list, came over here registered after seeing your fabulous fractals on your Picassa Incendia page.  This looks like a great program, and is it my eyesight, or are some of these images 3D.  A few of your images looked like they had been done in Xenodream - which I've been working in lately.  Anyway, I love what you've been doing and this program looks like a "must have."

BTW - I went to donation page and it isn't working.  I would like to donate to help with the costs of creating this software - do it all the time on Spot's page, so may as well help out here.  If you know who to contact regarding the donation page - please let them know that on this evening/early AM, 9/8/08 @ 12:20AM - the paypal page did not come up.  I'll check back tomorrow during normal hours - right now is what I call fractal time - lol.  Thank you so much for sharing the info about Incendia.  Also, I'm sorry to hear about your personal problems - why do aggravating things happen to such good, talented people????  I'll put you in my prayers to St. Anne...
Artfully speaking,
Anna Rice/aka fractalista

If you are familiar with XD, you will have no problems with Incendia.  It too is 3D.  You can rotate the images all around and shade them.  They produce shadows and all that kind of stuff.  The trial will have lots of fractals and objects and such built in, and there is a way to add more stuff to it.

Daniel, I've seen your works.  They are very interesting and present what people can create with INCENDIA.
