I have a few questions.

1) Is the Jesus of the quran the real Jesus? I think not. If the Jesus of the quran is the real Jesus then the Jesus of all other "holy books" would also be the real Jesus. Unfortunately my friend who wants to minister to muslims claims that there is only 1 Jesus and this means that Jesus of the quran IS the real Jesus. I don't agree with this at all.

2) Is it a good strategy to do like the quran is a valid source of information about Jesus to have some kind of connecting point when witnessing to muslims? I understand how this can be tempting to go to muslims and witness to them based on THEIR book but if the quran does not talk about the real Jesus then I also see a huge danger.
A christian would also not go to a mormon and then talk about Jesus based on the book of mormon and do like: "Hey bro, basically you already believe in the real Jesus which your mormon book talks about the only problem is that you need to believe a few additional things about Jesus which your book does not tell you."
I think such an approach is not honest. It's like desperately trying to sell Jesus to the people at any costs.

3) Would you pray with muslims in the "name of Jesus" knowing that their jesus is not the real Jesus? I would not do this.

4) How do you even talk to muslims about Jesus, knowing that they will most likely freak out if you tell them the truth?
Does this mean you never really confront them and tell them that their belief is false and that they are going to hell if they don't believe in the real Jesus of the bible?
Do you simply try to befriend them and "love" them and never really confront them and simply hope that somehow they will convert? But what if they don't? What if you witness to muslims and know that you can basically never really confront them without losing their "friendship"?
Does this not make you totally ineffective as evangelist when you can never tell them the truth straight in their face because then they might attack you?

On youtube you can find many testimonies of muslim converts to christianity.  They will make you cry.  They may help you understand what it takes to witness to them.
