I LOVE it!  hahahaha  lol

I also use the word "git" when I'm annoyed, most here get a puzzled look on their face and go "huh?'.

One of my fave old Brit-coms is "Are You being Served" and The Vicar of Dibley. lol

ETA:  I meant the bio is what cracked me up too. LOL

I'm copying it for future use. Smiley

I still love the bio of the author of 'Shadowmancer"
"Graham Taylor has spent the whole of his life searching for the hidden secrets of the universe. He lectures on the paranormal and folklore and lives in a secluded graveyard."

that's one way of saying 'He's a Vicar"

I don't think that this twilight series is good. It makes vampirism attractive and acceptable. I heard people are even exchanging love bites. This is sick.

I was a teen when I first exchanged love bites.  My grandma smacked me across my behind, and my dad said feed the boy a hamburger. Memories........hahaha

Seriously Face, you can't keep a good vamp down, unless you have stake and garlic.

The legends are as old as time.  They've just been revamped for this modern day and age.  No pun intended.

You've got to expect that someone without the moral compass of Christianity is going to take stuff to extreme at some point, and sure, how many Christians are also guilty of that?  But at the same time, what do you do?  legislate?  Censor? Naw, you just keep making the truth to people so that it gives them the tools to deal with this goofy stuff.

Jeesh...look at all of the laws and government regulations trying to insure that everyone acts in a Judeo-Christian manner..ie doing the right thing... and yet posting the 10 Commandments in a school is cause for an uproar. go figure.

Before I excahange lovebites with someone I would want to see the blood test results. I practice safe bites. And I need to know if they take Allicin C and use oddorless garlic in large quantities. But the thing that really gets me is siver colloid solutions....
Nowadays a vampire can't be too careful....but these days the people with stakes are usually headed for a political rally. Makes me shivver and feel kinda safe at the same time.  So I carry on my batty ways with discretion.
Nipping before marriage is just one of those shadow areas. Say you drive a wooden stake through someone's heart in the interests of this contagion...what do you do when the fangs disappear. I'd say you're in a whole lotta whoopy.

I'm not big on a series like this.  To me, each movie ought to be able to stand fully on it's own - more like the Star Wars movies.  I can see how it is a ploy to get more to go back to the movies.  Will they actually get married?  Will she change her mind?  Why does the crushed one end up living?  The movie doesn't stand on it's own, but serves as an enticement and trailer for the next movie.  Eclipse wasn't resolved when it ended.  (I saw the movie because we only get one movie each weekend in our town, and we have a pass good for a full year.
